OUI offers in-person and online French to English & vice-versa translation and interpretation course. We practice translation/interpretation and discuss all types of texts/discourses, different methods and strategies of translation and interpretation. Texts from a wide range of fields: administrative, journalistic, technical, commercial, political, legal and literary and both consecutive & simultaneous interpretation are practised. Depending on the learners’ requirement, we provide both theoretical and practical sessions.
At the end of the course, learners are able to work as freelance or employed translators/interpreters.
Successful candidates are recruited and offered translation – interpretation projects.
We offer both extensive and intensive courses of various duration; both individual and group classes. Admissions are open on first come first served basis. Please contact OUI French Language Institute for class days and timings.
We offer study material & practice material for translation & interpretation course. However, the learners are free to purchase/bring in any study material on their own.
